4. Request DGPS support. Free Differential GPS
support is provided by the graduate students from University of
Texas at El Paso, Systems Ecology Laboratory from June 1– August
15 in Barrow and Atqasuk each Summer. Schedule an appointment for
us to tag along with your crew. DGPS provides
horizontal and vertical position with centimeter
accuracy.
